Houston got Connor from Texas A&M. He’s off the board so who do we get?

Hey Chandler! Thank you for your time at North Texas. Best of luck in your future opportunities wherever you go.

You have to admit that moving to another team in our conference (i.e. Memphis) would be a bit of a stab in the back. I really hope it doesn't come to that.

If he ends up at Memphis I hope every Cassity sack stings just a little bit more. Could have been golden next year. Good luck enjoy Memphis. and the Mean Green Machine moves forward.

All aboard!

Instead of making these stupid threads, why not put together a good NIL package?

Agreed, he's not wrong. I know with rev sharing we will have more money but we are so behind it's not funny. One more massive failure for RV. Hes the caponi of UNT sports.

Ask Colt McCoy. Stingers don't go away.

This is not correct unless there's serious damage to the bracial plexus.  If there was Morris would have been done for the season

Memphis ? No way in heck Chandler ends up there. I think he ends up in the Big12 somewhere. If he were six feet tall, he could play anywhere with his talent.

Who cares?  He's gone.

I hope he bench-rots like Rogers at Cal.

@Cougar King Nah, we would rather defend our mediocre coaching hires, AD, criticize fans (who aren’t as awesomely passionate as us), criticize disloyal players some of us really never gave a 💩 about and bitch/moan about how the “system” is unfair.

Meanwhile we can’t in good conscience give extra resources to a program that has NEVER been serious about doing BIG things in football.

A Coach Morris 2025 Mean Green team will be lucky to go 6-6 next year taking a slight step backwards in QB production next year.

The AD will either fire Morris after another near 0.500 season or give him a “lame duck” year for budgetary concerns.  Then we will hire Air Raid Coach 3.0 and repeat the cycle.

PS:  Oh I forgot to mention that Wren Baker keeps trudging along for another 7 years he will likely get fired and then become our NIL CEO. (If NIL is still structured the same way without some massive new officially NCAA regulated oversight.). Read my other post on this thread for context.  ⬇️

I get amused at troll posters that come on our board and give advice.  It makes me wonder if:

he is a season ticket holder

he contributes to his team’s scholarship fund

he actually attends/attended his “school”

he actually buys single game tickets at attends games

he himself contributes to his school’s NIL

or, if he ever posts on his own school site.  I wouldn’t know because I don’t troll onto other sites unless we are playing them that week ?

Not to defend RV in any way but who authorized him to be the CEO of the NIL? I always get significant number of downvotes pointing out the systemic failure of our program that ALL starts at the top.  Read this ⬇️

Now please tell me why ANYONE not making “historically Mean Green was bad” excuses for UNT can take a program seriously that lets RV be the CEO of the NIL.  The guy they basically fired 5 years before NIL became a thing?  If we are that bad and RV is the ONLY guy that has big influence on big donors in the more than 25 years we have been back at FBS we need to shutdown football for a year and reboot like UAB did. (I am joking about shutting down football but the fact that I have to clarify that I am should be telling in and of itself).

Was a terrible decision and it forced us to move to this mercenary NIL which is hampering us to this day.  We needed new blood.

He'll go where he's guaranteed to start, and where he can get a boatload of money.  With Seth Henigan's eligibility up, I assume Memphis can offer him a starting job, and they can offer him money comparable to what a lot of Big 12 teams could offer.  I don't know that any experts have projected him to go there, but it's certainly not a reach.

FYI, Houston is dead last by far in the BIG 12 when it comes to the NIL (2,098,333). This is apparently lower than many G5 schools. So, you don't have a lot to brag about, even with the Big 12 money. This will eventually become a problem for them also.
