Nice to see the bench guys get in. Looks like there's a couple spark plugs on the bench who, if they continue to develop, could be used off the bench when the main rotation can't get much going.

…in all seriousness, still a great defensive effort.  There were 8 total halves played in the American tonight, aside from ours, and in three of them someone scored more than MVS scored in all of tonight.

When Brock Vice came in I was eager to see what he could do in the paint, and . . . he proceeded to jack up two 3-pointers that missed.  Oh well, overall I was impressed with how (relatively) polished the bench players looked in garbage time.

It really is remarkable how good this defense is. So many times MVS didn't get off a shot during their possession, or missed on a last second panic.

it wasn't a stroke that led me to wonder what the hell was he doing, though. I'll take a 6'10" 250 stretch-5 here, thank you.

I mean, yes...but...Mississippi Valley is quite possibly the worst division 1 team in the country...literally 364 of 364 in the NET ratings right now.

Sure. But this wasn't the first game I have thought this about. My knowledge of hoops is limited and I try to stay out of posting on the BB board for that reason. Maybe it happens multiple times every game played by every team, but it seems like NT's defense forces this turnover type regularly against good and bad teams. Probably just selective memory.
