Portal players leaving
What are some examples of those who have willingly chosen to leave North Texas for another school and yet remained or become "darlings of the program"? I'm drawing a blank. -

Is the Portal out of control?
There is a HUGE difference between someone quitting and someone getting fired. If a school cans a coach before his contract is up, but abides by that contract and pays him what he is owed, then the school is honoring the contract. I would also note that scholarships aren't the same as contracts. -

I like Sissoko but recognize he makes some bad mistakes. However, given the size that HP had (even though they aren't big scorers), I think we needed to play him as much as possible. -

Is the Portal out of control?
All of you who don’t like that players are “picking up their balls and going home” can’t say jack about firing coaches before their contracts are up. You’re not allowed to “take your ball and go home.” You made a commitment to that coach. Honor it.
