College football revenue is only behind professional football.

Revenue means nothing if it can't cover expenses. Probably 80% of D1 football teams lose money.  Note, revenue in most stats includes mandatory student fees.  Revenue defined as ticket sales, guarantees, concessions, advertising, etc. and not student or school funds rarely covers expenses.

I guess all it took was unbridled capitalism coming to something that you all love before you began to see it's evils.

let's nominate Luigi Mangione as new acting head of the NCAA

I have not personally met anyone who has advocated "unbridled capitalism".   Unbridled capitalism and anarchy are in reality twins.

Isn't this what Libertarians are looking for?   Granted, I don't think I've met an actual Libertarian, just people who dislike the other two options...

Libertarianism | Definition, Philosophy, Examples, History, & Facts | Britannica

libertarianism, political philosophy that takes individual liberty to be the primary political value. It may be understood as a form of liberalism, classical liberalism

Because universities are managing these funds.
