Look at Maclin’s numbers this year. DT disappeared once he had a target on his back.

And the administration wonders why people/fans don’t care.

All these players think it won’t happen to them… until it does.

Not sure if I should applaud his confidence or hold off and get a laugh at this if he disappears.

Sheffield said. "Obviously I balled out in this conference and I have the ability and want to showcase my talents on a bigger level."

Considering he failed on his first attempt. Hope he gets splinters in his ass while he counts the $$$$ he gets riding the bench

Dude dropped like half the passes that went his way. What a tool.

Sometimes, these players (and those around them) fail to realize that the system has more to do with their success than they would like others to believe.

His production almost fell off the cliff in the last two or three games. You can try to blame the QB for that, but DT dropped some easy throws and went down when he was barely touched.

When it becomes all about money, love of the game takes a back seat

I was thinking the same thing and wondering if there's a correlation between the time he started getting phone calls from school saying hey, as long as you're healthy, we have a spot for you and then he started worrying about getting hurt rather than playing ball.

His poor production and drop in playing time these last few weeks has been so astounding that I wondered if he might have been involved in some type of college sports gambling scandal like the Temple basketball player from last season. It was like he was trying to play bad.

How much is it worth to be in a system that utilizes and features your talents? What is the value of that experience and those memories?

I would be really hesitant to walk away from that for a few thousand dollars. Unless you are getting paid WAY more than you could ever make outside of football.

One thing these guys don’t realize is if the P4 can afford to pay YOU then they also have the money to pay 4 or 5 guys just like you. And the P4 has no loyalty to you. Maybe you will play. Maybe you won’t.

I feel bad for everyone who tried to support Chandler and this dude at that autograph appearance.  You wasted your time and money.

I don't and PT Barnum agrees with me.
