Well Frisco Bowl is off the table, they announced Memphis vs West Virginia today. I’ve been seeing a lot of New Mexico Bowl projections.

I'm gonna predict the NM Bowl. Independence Bowl would be perfect because it's on a Saturday night, but that one usually gets taken up by a higher ranked team. I could see Tulane choosing it.

Myrtle Beach would suck. Monday at like 11am. There might be a thousand people there, especially if against a MAC team.

I love how they wait until the last possible minute to announce who plays where.  Who needs time to get time off from work, buy plane tickets, make hotel reservations, etc.

What do you expect them to do? Until the Conference Championship games and CFP field is set, no one knows where it will all shake out.

Push the dates back a week or two.

Now just imagine trying to follow your team in the playoffs. As lurker said though, gotta hash out the conference championships first.

Seems to be a forgone conclusion we're headed to New Mexico.

Zero fans and playing a nobody most likely. Memphis swooped in and took the home field advantage away at the Frisco bowl. First responders bowl would be nice if that’s still possible. I know the university wants closer bowl games for the fans.

Looks like New Mexico is where we’ll end up. Other than the game, I had a great time in Albuquerque last time.

And you were introduced to Mr. Jordan Love

What do yall think of the Fort Worth bowl maybe?

Beautiful Amon G. Carter stadium, Friday afternoon game time, two days after Christmas. My only reservation with The Armed Forces bowl is they typically invite Navy, Army, or Air Force with each running the dreaded Triple Option. Because of that I'd rather see us invited to The First Responders Bowl in Dallas.

And besides we'll see the Triple Option three times next season... Army, Navy, & Rice. Our new DC Skyler Cassity has his work cutout for him.

With us, there's always the chance it'll be a newly created bowl. In Garland. Against the 4th place team from The MEAC.

Sponsored by Brint Ryan.
