The guy we have right now is way better than Jackson Arnold.

Assuming he stays.

For whatever reason Denton kids have some sort of aversion to UNT outside of a few exceptions.

I understand wanting to go away for college, but even so, there should still be more of them staying home and playing for the local school.

Not sure they know there is a school in Denton

Anyone who disagrees is blinded by the recruiting star system.

Morris was more productive and won more in high school. And he has done a hell of a lot more than Arnold both at TCU and North Texas compared to what Arnold did at OU, which was mostly just be disappointing.

If you get the opportunity to play at somewhere like OU I can’t say I blame them for leaving Denton lol. Being a very average football program is a hard sell to keep kids home

I'm not saying Arnold is better than CM, I just find it funny some are pointing to this season as evidence CM is better. When Chandler Morris committed here, most on this board pointed to his injuries and being benched by TCU to say he'd flop here. If Chandler Morris leaves UNT, who's to say Arnold can't come in and revive his career with our offense? Morris was very good this year but struggled against the better competiton. Arnold struggled against SEC competiton this year. He still finished with about 1800 yards of offense, 15 total TDs, and 3 interceptions including 131 rushing yards against Alabama. I think he'd do very well at UNT.
