That's not what you said, but hey, you are always right.

You don't read very well either.

I questioned how they could rank Utah St so high, and didn't think it was realistic.  I know they use metrics...big deal if it's not accurate in realistic rankings.  CMJ also said early rankings can be off.

Are you and CBL related?  I used to cut you some slack because you're a dinosaur.  You were probably a good NT fan at one time, but now you are bitter about the program.  Plus you're losing your memory and social graces.  There is just no excuses or hope for CBL.

Here is what I said:

I question a lot of their ranking order.

Utah St. is not #14 good.

UConn is #39, and Dayton is #40??

conveniently leaving out a part of your own post...and hilariously deleting your original post, despite the fact it was quote by multiple people. just take the L.

What are Net rankings based on?

Well NT 80, you are right. I am a dinosaur, but far from being a bitter fan. I have had a lot of joy through UNT athletics through out the decades but also some disappointment. I don't understand why our students show so little support and alumni give so little money. I don't understand why we can't build a winning football program but I expect you will tell us. I agree that my social graces have slipped but one of the pleasures of becoming an old man is not having to suffer fools.I will also at 82 admit to occasional memory lapses although I must say you are unforgettable. In summary I disagree with most but not all of your posts, respect your right to have a different opinion, find you easy to pimp, and wish you a blessed life.

I was taking it down to your level of comprehension.  But you still can't understand.  Let's try even easier for you.  Yes, I questioned how it arrived at a laughable #14 ranking for USU.   It is more laughable you defending that ranking.

Your cute little quips and life philosophy is fine if this were a talk show.  Nobody really cares.  Your insecurity by still having to demean other fans when they differ from your genius opinion shows.

Hey, NT80, how about toning it down a little to the older Mean Green fans like Wardly?   And respect goes a long way.

Mutual.   Respect has to be earned.

you're right. I should probably just go tell an 80 year old to take his meds so I can feel self-confidence again.

CBL stood next to a burnt-down house with a can full of gas and a hand full of matches and still weren't found out

Maybe he should wear a shirt that says "I did it."

let's try to get this thing back on the rails...

Evansville (269)
Minnesota (155)
McNeese (75)
Oregon State (49)
Northern Iowa (167)
Utah State (14)
High Point (190)
MVSU (364...literally dead last)
App State (199)
Houston Christian (347)

I know it really showed through this year, but the next step in this program is clearly upping the non-con scheduling...especially if half the AAC teams are gonna be dragging down our NET rankings.

I know the SEC/ACC; Big 12/Big East challenges are TV/ESPN driven, but it'd be incredible if the AAC could have a similar set up with another solid basketball conference like the A-10, WCC, MVC, MWC...surely ESPNU would chip in a turkey sandwich for that, right?

anyone know if that McNeese game is a home/home? if they can keep these levels, that'd be a great add on the regular.

Yes, we all know you think you're a sports genius and life guru.

But even Mensa members like yourself wouldn't put Utah St 25 spots in front of UConn and Dayton.

Nobody is putting Utah State 25 spots in front of UConn, it's not a poll ranking. It's just computer metrics, really not that deep.

That said, there's a great website that shows you how every poll voter voted. It includes graphs and even highlights extreme picks when they put a team 5 or more spots away from their poll ranking. Several journalists voted USU in the top 25 along with UConn and Dayton both unranked. Who knows what their actual gap would be if those journalists ranked to 40.

Below is the website. Click on a team to see that team's week-by-week ranking via graph, then scroll down to see where each journalist ranked that team. You can click on that journalist's name to see how they voted. I have fun on the website and hope you enjoy it as well!

I do believe McNeese is a home/home.

I'd love a conference "challenge" with the new PAC. I think they will be our greatest competitor in revenue sports moving forward as we'll both by vying for that next spot in perceived conference prestige. W need to beat them in basketball and football to keep enhancing our conference brand.

I mean...I could also have just looked it up myself...

odd looking conference...seems like they're leaning more into being a basketball conference? is this just an effort to absorb all the MWC, but keep the name/prestige of the PAC?

Looks like they took the top west coast brands available including Gonzaga. The new PAC based on current NET rankings:

#3 Gonzaga

#13 Utah State (they've gone up 1)

#37 Boise State

#49 Oregon State

#62 San Diego State

#69 Washington State

#205 Colorado State

#248 Fresno State

This will be a multi-bid conference.
