I don't understand how these "professional" refs make these horrible calls game after game.

No accountability…  If X amount of missed calls that were challenged by a school after a game led them losing their jobs permanently they wouldn’t make such poor calls. Most people would take a missed call over the abuse of a poor whistle any day.

Sorry, dude, thought we were having fun!

I may have read that post with wrong tone.  I sincerely apologize for unloading.

It's a bad loss, yes. But let's hold until conference play starts. This team is pretty good. All teams have off nights. We had 2 guys foul out. I am one that usually sees the bad, but it's still early.

Pretty disappointing.  Wright has got to figure out some way to gain consistency.  He’s great or terrible.  No middle ground and we need him to keep teams honest.  Also, like McNeese, another loss where the bad guys get over 30 free throw attempts.

This is a solid program, at home, coming off a disappointing loss. That’s a very dangerous combination. This will be a good win.

Yet again. Look who was right. Either accept the above…or…let flow the stream of awful opinions below:

This team has looked better than last year's team until tonight. Will agree this is a really bad loss, but remember last year's bunch lost to a 13-20 Fordham team on a neutral site. Super disappointing tonight for sure.

I'd have to take a look at the stats, but I feel like one big difference from last year is our shooting. This team looks very streaky, and has poor shot selection because they get into trouble and don't know what to do.

Vice must not show anything at practice.  Seems like this would be a game to get some minutes to develop even if he fouls out.  We needed some size to protect paint in 2nd half

Part of it is he just can’t create his own shot. Showed signs of being able to in Florida but otherwise he’s pretty reliant on the looks he is getting from other players.

You said UNT would win.

No I didn’t. I said this would be a good win. I literally said after the McNeese game that I full expect to beat OSU and then lose to HPU…and then watch the stupidity from this board not be able to reconcile the two

It's really tough where we are at in the world of CBB.  We regularly see solid ball from no-name schools, or solid programs from no-name conferences.  On top of that, tough to get bigger names - familiar names - to play you.

You can't really win when we win, and when you lose it's suffocating.

So…it’s a lot better to have 1  streaky player to rely upon (Edwards) vs. 3 of 4 streaky players this year?

It's not a terrible loss, but sadly, being a non-power-conference team, it does mean we have probably eliminated ourselves from at-large tournament contention.

My dude, that ship was long since sailed.

the AAC is a one bid league this year…two if Memphis gets ousted in the conference tourney.
