We’re going to have a lot of close games this season. It’s going to come down to coaching in times like these. GM has proven it. Let’s see if RH has learned from him. So far, we’re 2-2 against tough competition.

High Point maybe 8-1 but they have beaten no one other than UAB by 3pts. Rest of their wins are over MEAC teams = SWAC level.

Should be a 10+ pt win

so is High Point a new university?

I mean by University standards, I guess it's "sorta" new, but it's a century old now.

if the guys blow this game it will be a horrible loss, High Point is barely in the Top 200 from beating up on the MEAC teams and a 3pt win over an average UAB team, followed by a loss to Missouri St. This should be an easy win if Hodge has the team ready

They are barely top 200 right now, but that'll increase if they keep winning the way they have for more than a year now.  By the end of the season, I predict this will be a Quad 2 game for us, so a win would be VERY helpful.  But, I think some of us are underestimating them.  They are like McNeese in that they won a ton of games last year and almost never lose at home.  As of this morning, NT is favored by just 2.5, and I think that's about right.

Also...I think UAB is better than average, even though they did stumble out of the gate a bit.  They still have talent...
