There has to be a reason he’s been the interim on 2 other occasions but was never later named the full-time, no?

Look at every possible applicant, reach out to anyone that looks attractive.

Then pick the one that can convince Morris to implement some under-center snaps in his offense.  Perfectly reasonable request, given the potential increase in 3rd down conversions and less time on his new defense will be on the field.

You’ve got a good point, but I think it’s best to walk away from most, if not, all of the defensive coaches. Just too many inconsistencies and lack of awareness with the players. Perhaps new methods l/teaching style would work better.

I want someone that bases from a 4 man front.  He has made one from our current scheme, but I don't think that is his base.

After 2 games, I know we could do worse.  Hopefully we can do better.

You don't keep an assistant from a DC that was fired because the defense was poor; only if the DC was promoted out because the defense was good.

His defense (barely) held Temple…TEMPLE…to few enough points for us to sneak out of the pillow fight of the year.

If the new DC wants to keep him as a LB coach, that's fine. But no, we shouldn't hire him as DC.

Agreed.  No up and coming next greatest thing.   I need skins on the wall.  While we’re at it, make them an asshole too.  I want a mean MF that runs a mean MF defense.

Enough of this pat them on the back get them next time coach. Coach them hard and make them accountable. The kids will respect you better when you turn them into real players.
