Exactly where I was going with my comment. We had a guy in Atin that was a 20ppg guy at Drake, who is historically a better team than Cleveland State.

I rather NIL never happened, it is well on its way to destroying college sports. I think eventually that fact will have to be recognized and some type of curtailment will occur. Unfortunately, I am sure that most of us older fans won't be around to see it.
I wouldn’t literally boo either…just expressing that I wouldn’t be in favor of someone like that being in the HOF. I agree that silence would speak volumes (and it’d be much classier).

LOI are contracts.
Maybe, they should be expanded like coaches' contract and outline damages if a player leaves without approval. Let their new team compensate for what the former team has provided
Scholarships are one year agreements, but there has been a strong tradition of automatically renewing those contracts. Only non-performance issues such as grades, legal problems or open defiance of school policies lead to losing scholarships.
