I bet he assembles a team better than anyone who’s ever come prior. With his connections, I also bet he could help set this program up for the long haul. His name alone brings instant credibility. With that said, he’d probably retire than coach in Denton.

He was 44-32 his 2nd stint at North Carolina. That's enough to get you a statue at UNT, so why not bring him in.

Hes 73 and will not coach forever... That said, if you can bring him in and have him coach just a couple seasons to get the program on the right track before retiring and handing it off to someone he has trained as his replacement.

What have you seen that honestly leads you to believe that EM has a clue, MUCH LESS can turn this around?  He's football Benford.

His biggest mistake was hiring and retaining the DC. He’s fixing that.  The other glaring issue is our lack of a deep threat.  Opposing teams drop 8 and attack our screens.  I didn’t realize just how much we’d miss Maclin. I think we address both issues in the TP. 

We need to show up on Saturday, though.  A 45-42 game would not be a good look vs Temple. Needs to be 45-10, or better.

EM fired the DC to save himself.  If he didn’t see our defensive struggles last season, well, he would be the only one.  I can’t imagine it happening, but I’d love to see Mack Brown here.  If only for a season or two.
