My apologies, the color guy is actually Van Chancellor, 4-time WNBA champion head coach with the Houston Comets. Currently 81, ten years younger than Hubie Brown. I guess I should pay my respect..

Lead is 40-26 UNT midway through the third. Wooten with 19. Lampkin has been battling foul trouble.

Let's see if @Cougar King shows up here after our ladies completely dismantle Houston in their own house. Mean Green win 69-53. Light the tower green. I loved when Van Chancellor said he would give the Top Dawg belt to Wooten and the hustle belt to Deck of North Texas and he would give the hustle belt for Houston to their player Love, but you don't give a belt to losers. Hahaha.

Its women's basketball, it's not a revenue sport. Nobody cares about it here, hence why we sellout every men's game yet the women's team draws like 10 people.

Beat us in football or men's basketbal...oh wait, Fritz would coach circles around Morris and Hodge doesn't even belong on the same court as Sampson.

We have a Top 10 Men's basketball program while UNT can't even put guys in the NBA.

Beat us there and then talk.

We have a Top 5 Men's basketball program and Hodge doesn't even belong on the same court as Sampson nor does UNT put guys in the MBA.

Now nobody cares about it and you make the pivot to other sports. Our ladies kicked your butts. Take that L.

You were so desperate for a W somewhere you scraped the bottom of the barrel with women's basketball.

You know as well as I do you could never touch us in any revenue sport.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go enjoy watching my Top 10 basketball team in the Vegas tournament that UNT will NEVER be invited to.

We are not talking about other sports. This topic is WBB and you took that L. When we talk MBB, then talk. Until then, take that L.

If this team can just fix their turnover problem (16 in the first half alone) to maximize their opportunities on offense - whether it's Lampkin in the paint or getting a few more opportunities from deep - they are going to be the class of the AAC again.

They played around too much with ACU and similar to the guys against Texas Wesleyan, appeared disinterested in the game against NW State, but they came into Houston and proved they were the better team with authority.

Desiree Wooten is amazing .  Beautiful game . She also seems like a very kind, humble young lady.  I hope we can keep her all 4 years at UNT.

Love her game.

If you sell tickets to it, it is a revenue sport.

If you don't care about it then that's on your fans and AD.

A friend of mine was on the LSU Tiger Club Board, who raises money for athletics and parcels it out based upon the departments request. When the Tigers hired Baylor's WBB coach his response was" great, now we can lose even more  money ." UNT loses money on every sport it has so great, let's add baseball so we can lose even more money. Every dollar they pore into athletics is money that is lost to all other departments. I care about football and basketball but a real revenue sport is when money in is greater that money out.
