They hired Moseley. And I understand that to a degree....we were in a bind when Wren left us mid-season.

But they never provide any oversight. When Jared offered EM a 5 year deal.....where were they? Nowhere to be found. As I'm sure most don't give a flip about UNT Athletics.

Is it time to contact members of the BOR and express our frustrations?

Change is certainly needed. I remember when a banner was flown during one of their meetings.

They are listed here. I have no idea who any of these people are. Some may be good fans....I don't know. But, I know that at other schools.....the Regents for the Aggies, Longhorns, Crimson Tide, Sooners, etc etc etc.....I'm sure they're all hard core sports fans for the colleges they represent. I doubt that's the case here....

When I was at the game watching the disaster unfold, only to check Mosley's Twitter and see him retweeting a Christian rapper during said disaster, I felt embarrassed for paying to be there.

Is this true? No way.

Tried to share it but it posted his entire feed here, ha. Anyway, yes it's still up. Some Lecrae tweet during the game.

I checked the timeline and the math works out. Mosley was tweeting about stuff unrelated to UNT athletics during the game.

Should everyone just stay home and look at X instead of coming to North Texas football games?

We need people, including and especially YOU, paying attention during our football games, Jared. Not a good look, Mosley. Do better.

I will also say that I still support Mosley and believe he is doing a good job. Both basketball hires were homeruns and the football hire can still work out. But maybe get off social media during our games? What are you, a teenage girl?

Yep. There is a cancer somewhere within the university, that will not allow us to reach out potential.

It's time to find those fvckers and hold them accountable.

Is it a cancer or is it that we/they want to be successful so much that we’ll make uneducated or risky decisions to try to get there?

7th place finish in Conference a year after winning the NIT is hardly a home run hire

We just beat a Big 10 team on the road. That’s a home run around these parts. And anyone who has spent any time watching the men’s basketball program knows that Ross is a home run hire.

You make some great points.  I am starting to think we need a Doge type of audit of the AD.  We have a HUGE AD budget compared to similar AAC schools and are not getting results.

A long time ago, when I was younger and Harry was running this board on a different setup with a guy named "Scotty" -- he just threw his hands up and said "I'M OUT."

In my younger and more idealist vision, why would he do that? Why can't UNT be that sleeping giant and be TCU that invigorates their program? I went with @Cerebus to grab some tickets from Scotty since he wasn't going to use them anymore and I could definitely talk someone to use them. He was a normal guy, not angry, not a monster, just a dude. A dude who wanted to use him time and money elsewhere. Still, as an more mature and realist, I still don't know why not UNT. But I get Scotty.

This AD is terrible. Moseley and his C-suites are terrible hires. Wren wasn't good. At that VERY least with RV he made the fans like us feel heard and appreciated. RV definitely had his faults and I was not a big fan.

Chief Revenue Officer. LOL. General Manager. LOL.

Agree Mosley is a bad hire, the guy doesn't show any emotion and passion for UNT. Quite frankly, he's boring

The BOR and Administration are doing what they are paid to do--focus on increasing enrollment, focus on music and arts as the primary window to the university, and never make winning at revenue sports a priority. Its why we have 2% of the alumni who give to the program. And Denton doesn't even care about the team at all--very minuscule interest

This.  Unless/until the BOR and Administration decide to "...make winning at revenue sports a priority", we will only have the occasional good season more or less by accident.
