New Leadership Required

I’ve seen enough.  Two years of sub-mediocre results.  Poor coaching, poor adjustments, poor playing.  It’s time for a completely new coaching and support staff for the football program.  And this time we need to hire a proven head coach from the FBS level.  No more coordinators, FCS head coaches or someone we think might be good.  We need a proven leader with a proven recipe for success with some serious skins on the wall.  Time to make a serious commitment to the program.

We need to hire a P4 Assistant AD from a P4 program with a history of successful football hires who can come here as AD and bring that methodology to the Mean Green.  If they also have NIL experience by this point, all the better.

Mosley is nice, but didn't it come from Abilene Christian?  Wren spent time at P4 programs before he was brought here.  Granted, he may have let Seth go slightly longer than he should have, but there was a gravitas that Mosley doesn't have. 

But the Neal Brown situation at WVU since Wren left UNT may mean Wren isn't great at figuring out what to do with mediocre coaches in a program with bigger fan aspirations. So, my assessment potentially has as many holes as the North Texas defensive line.
