2-5 in conference play, fire him now and lets have a good thanksgiving

And if the cowboys could also fire Mccarthy tomorrow, it might make the holiday break a little brighter.

Why do I pick the worst teams?

I agree completely.

"Best start since 1929" or some stuff, and then a complete collapse.  If we're a perennial 6/6 5/7 team, don't get our hopes up.

And don't pretend this is a positive season by limping into the WhoCares Bowl.

I don’t want this team going to a bowl game that they will get blown out in. I don’t want to hear all off-season about how Eric Morris got us to a bowl game and how somehow that puts lipstick on this horrible horrible atrocity. And I certainly don’t want anybody talking about how we were so close in a lot of games and he’s gonna get it turned around. This man doesn’t have a douchebaging clue and it shows.

Amen!!

Consider me on board here.  Not interested in lingering on a "fence" decision if we get to a bowl and are blown out again.  Especially not if it is 2-3 more seasons of 6 wins and a bowl whippings.

Just whip us this last week, don't get eligible, and make it even more obvious we want to move on.

I didn’t think it was possible but I think I actually hate watching EM coach these teams more than Seth. Only thing I like about him is that EM actually takes some blame but the decisions are absolutely pathetic in the game.

Yes. It’s the only way to the needed outcome.

Just as losing to a ranked UTSA team a few years ago would have been the better result for the program.  Are we the only team that actually loses by winning?

oh man, I remember that.  Rumormill is that the pink slip was ready to give, and then they won...

I don’t care. I won’t watch and, if we win and make a bowl game, I won’t watch either. Glad I didn’t renew my season tickets this year, because I just don’t care any more.

On to basketball for me.

Morris ain't  Frickin going anywhere.

This tread is the result of a fan base being beaten down year after year. What do you expect?? LOL

Embarrassing thread.  I’ll never root against UNT.  I am, however, completely and totally over the air raid.

You miss the point then.   Hoping to keep this team, with THIS coach, out of a bowl game is 1000% rooting for UNT.

When you come across a horse with two severely broken legs, what do you do?

This.

So many people on here just don’t understand that UNT Football isn’t going to be anything bigger than we have seen. It can’t, not with NIL and the portal mess allowing the P4s to buy away anyone with talent on the roster. So we will start over again next year with a different roster, same clueless coach who cannot figure out 4th down on offense (much, much less defense), and we will have a schedule that should be good for us, but in the end will be too tough.

Rinse and repeat for the most part since 1995. High end is a 9 win season, low end is 1-2 wins.

I get it.  Trust me, I feel it.  I’ll still never root for us to lose.  Even at 5-7 it’s not likely that we’d fire him.  He has already bought himself another year by scapegoating the DC.

I could never cheer against tour team, but.....

When this big of segment of our fan base is reduced to cheering against our team's success, it is past time for our AD to step in and fix this sh!t. We have to have a change at head coach.

And we're the passionate fans.  The casuals have already checked out, probably permanently.
