Morris is a joke

My theory has always been that AD hired Morris for head coach week after Leach passed knowing it would give us a lot of PR.  Hire should have never been done.  We have just moved to another version of a bad head coach.

I say fire EM and immediately seek to hire the ECU interim, the man is a DC and knows how to bring a team together

Since it's almost Christmas.....don't think of it, as firing him. Think of it, as putting Elf On The Shelf.

That’s cold-blooded.  Made me laugh, but cold-blooded.🤣🤣🤣🤣

The season is over. I'm not giving another dollar to this program. HC Morris is not the guy. We made a bad hire. He was out coached by an interim. Guess what fellas, it might happen again next week vs Temple. Temple barely beat FAU (like us) and put up a good fight against UTSA. Everett Withers has been around the block. Look for them to outcoach us as well.

Agree, we will be the worst 6-6 team to get in

But please Mr Mosley explain again to everyone why we should be giving money to this university when the university surely doesn't give a crap when they keep putting product like this out on the field.

And please anyone who doesn't agree that we should fire Morris give your logic. And please let's just don't use the generic or will he needs more time. He clearly is over his head at this level of football as a head coach.

Exactly! I’m not giving a dime or going to another game. Waste of time. Why should I care more than the staff/players/admin?

after 20 years of this bs I’m about done. Y’all  can down vote all you want, but TCU is closer and the wife went there. At least they care.

Offense got shut down in the second half. EM has had no answer. This is EM…unable to coach up his guys. I’m glad I’m only able to listen to the game instead of watching. It’s not hurting my soul nearly as much as seeing the choke job live.

You can always watch the replay on ESPN+.

They lost to them worse than we did and I sure wouldn’t say we put up a good fight.

But I agree that we may not beat Temple.

I take the UTSA part back, I feel asleep at the start of the 4th quarter. Didn't realize it was 51 to 27 lol.

Most of people that download are to chicken shits to actually give their own opinion since they can hide behind the fact that this is the only board in college sports that doesn't show who votes a certain way. Remember clicks are the most important thing.

You realize that your first sentence makes no sense.   You're attempting I guess; to imply posters are chicken because they don't identify themselves more fully when they express an emoji rating.   Despite, the obvious; that feature has not been activated.

You are also very wrong, very few college message boards identify posters that use emoji ratings.

The reason that it is not done, is that instead of discussing the topic; more comments would deteriorate into personal debates.   Save the bandwidth, keep the discourse to sports.

Hard to believe that in two seasons Moors will probably alienate more long-time mean green fans then Seth ever did. Time to find out if Mosley is going to be a good AD or just a another body taking up space and collecting a paycheck.

Even if we do we should turn down a bowl invite. All that will happen if we get an invite is they will try to turn this around into a successful season for the mean green after being an embarrassment.

Not trying to be disrespectful but I go on quite a few and I've never seen one that doesn't show who did the vote.

At this point, it is time to fire Morris even if we win next week and back into a bowl game. If we do and win that bowl game, it is still time to fire him. This is a end of season collapse of epic proportions.

I think this team is done.  I don't think we win at Temple.  Would have never guessed at 5-1, we could finish 5-7.

Did Eric do an after game interview?  I listened to post game show, but must have missed him?

EM was the first hire in my fandom (1999) that on paper made a ton of sense.  Every single succession of hires since then was very reactionary: we went from running (DD) to passing (Dodge).  Then we went from young and passing (Dodge) to  old age, old school (McCarney).  Then we went back to youth and tried the Leach tree

In many ways, the EM hire being another young Leach guy, was the department's first attempt to seek consistency.  Remember, SL was wnning some games, just failing in the important ones.  I liked it, because it seemed like all this was was taking something that was almost there, and tweaking it as needed.
