That's fine to not like the uniforms they picked. Probably not my favorite either but your sarcastic "great work guys" was uncalled for. Everyone is welcome to their opinions but just don't put someone else's down.

My comment was directed at the coach/player personnel that chose it, i didn't know it came from the players. Who cares anyways, they're not reading my posts?

I think you would be surprised that a lot of players and their parents and friends read this site on the daily.

Thanks for the info, guy who just titled the thread "rats off a sinking ship" about some players not being on the roster. I'll keep that in mind.

The script has never been particularly popular amongst the fanbase writ large, but we do seem to win more often than not in it.

 

We started using it in 2001 and won four conference titles.  The year we quit ('05) took a nosedive that lasted about six years.

Ya'll better worry about beating Baylor at home here in Houston at TDECU.  At least the unis will look awesome in that Houston police car blue.

      One other thing I want to mention, and Ross addressed this on the post game - Props to Oregon State for actually scheduling this game to begin with. So many of their peers are too scared to nut up and play a game like this to begin with. It was a really competitive, fun game, with a great atmosphere. Any casuals in the building last night are sure to come back for more. I’m sure the date/time of the game came into play strategically for them accepting it to minimize our potential home-court advantage, but thankfully our fanbase showed pretty well and the HC advantage was in full force. Hope I have the opportunity to go out for the return game next season.

      I agree with most of this here and I don't think anyone is calling for a 12 man rotation...but imma pull two lines from above that are kinda contradictory to each other: "Either these young guys are good enough to crack the 8/9 man rotation or they are not." and " if Ross offered him, he must be good." this is basically Ross's roster at this point, and yes, while we're winning games, I haven't seen any world-beaters out there. so if these kids are being given opportunity to win playing time and aren't at least pushing the upperclassmen for minutes, I have questions about our freshmen recruiting...I don't know if they "must be good"

      Anyone else still rooting for Eric Morris?

      I don't see any other option but to root for him... If you fire him now and reset the program again (twice in less then 2 years) then you throw away next season. All the recruiting, and portal momentum, and most of the team will disappear with the coach being fired.

      1. Anyone. There is a tryout. 2. No. It is provided by the school. The summer uniform/clothes under the uniform are paid for by the students. 3. Both. Most play on their own instrument. Marching instruments such as the sousaphones, marching baritones, mellophones and drumline are provided by the school. 4. Both. To my understanding. 5. 1 credit 😡 6. Most GB members make up the pep groups but that’s not always the case. *This might be outdated info. Sorry if anyone has other intel.
