Its an algorithm based on team efficiency over value of opponents.  It is not really a power ranking, its more of a fluid formula that takes the entire season to reveal itself (it makes more sense in late February then early December).  

It would be interesting to see a tournament bracket based on NET rankings vs one based on committee seed rankings.

My question was pointed at the Twitter/X comment by T3 Bracketology that makes that claim. CBL may be too busy celebrating the nut job that blew up the Tesla truck at Trump Tower in Las Vegas.

Def reasonable to say they have stepped back, and it's time to consider that this Memphis team has that "it" factor they typically lack.

Tigers had the hardest non-con in the country, scoring (IIRC) 8 wins over Q1 and Q2 opponents.  No one else has more than 6.

Yeah, they lost to Arkie State.

Maybe @Censored by Laurie can elaborate on his pre-season post, about them looking built different (better) than what he has seen before.
