Wow.  Terrible night for the American.  We all need to start wrapping our mind around the idea that...this league isn't very good beyond 2-4 teams.  Like, the rest are BAD?

Clarity: no shaming Temple for losing to an incredible 'nova program.  Even on an off year, they are heavy hitters.

Shockers are the only squad that got a W tonight.

But then it comes back in full force. Five games in five days at the Pit from Dec 18-22 between the men and women.

Things can be cyclical like that.  Wichita State, on the other hand, seems to be recovering after a couple of down seasons.

Memphis should pull this out but man, what a great game. I thought they were toast when they fell behind by 6 late in regulation. They generate turnovers and can seemingly score at will.
