We have no go-to scorer right now in the season. If the 3's are not falling we struggle. Ross keeps wanting the ball pounded down low to draw fouls but we don't have good hands down low.

Atin Wright, our big acquisition of you can call it that, has been terrible the past two games. Just can’t make his shots.
If Ross wants to throw the ball down the blocks, why not put Vice or Newell down there. At least they have some semblance of an offensive game. You get some points down low, you’ll open things up on the perimeter.

Will Hodge open up the second half with a lineup that features Walker/Newell/Sissoko? That lineup has no spacing. McNeese doesn't respect Walker or Newell on the perimeter; Moulaye can't finish in traffic. I guess Hodge does subsitute quickly anyway but . .

It doesn't need to be done by pounding it down low. 6 offensive boards but how many 2nd chance points? Go back up strong and draw contact. Even those rebounded closer to the perimeter, the defense is usually out of sorts because players are standing around watching the ball. Take the board and drive back in the lane. You have to force teams to play clean defense down low. 3s will not always fall.

Pretty sure he got blocked 3 times in the first 4 minutes by shorter guys. No reason for that. I really hope Vice can give us more. We may not find out today but before conference, we need to see what he can give.
