Coach was playing like they were going to get 40 on us. It looked like the 4th a goal the back hit the wrong gap outside the tackle and he scores . I also thought every time they went wide there was obvious holding. I was very surprised how well our D line did. Congrats  to the D now let’s see this the rest of the year.

Agreed.  We were making decisions in the first quarter that shouldn’t be made until late in the 4th quarter (onside kick, not kicking a chip shot field goal, going for it on 4th and 7 on our side of the field).   Of course, we make these decisions on a weekly basis, so I shouldn’t be surprised.

Yeah right… Our D didn’t cause Morris to throw picks in the red zone or cause us to not be able to punch the ball in from the 1. The offense just didn’t make the plays we are used to them making. The defense had nothing to do with that.

Coach Morris is like Mike Leach was. He’s super aggressive. That’s going to win you some games and lose you some games, particularly when you don’t make plays you’re used to making.

There’s always something keeping this team from winning. Hitting the wrong hole, missed tackles, poor execution, poor play selection, ultra aggressiveness. Ultimately, that’s on the HC.
