McNeese road trip?

Is anyone planning - or thinking about - a road trip to Lake Charles?  I realized today I'll be there Monday the 18th - making a casino trip Sunday thru Tuesday for my wife's birthday, so why not go?!

I checked out the McNeese web site - tickets are only $10 or $15, and parking is free.  I'd drop a lot more than that in a casino over two hours 🤑.

Stix, I wish I still lived in SE Texas.  I’d join you for some UNT basketball and gambling.  I was less than an hour from Lake Charles.

Ticket rep said GA tickets for $7 if we get a group of 15 or more.

I watched a little of their game against Alabama last night.  Very athletic team that was really always in the game.  They were down by 11 at half, but outscored Bama by 3 in the second half to only lose by eight to the #2 team in the country.

Due to a family emergency,  we've had to cancel our trip.  So, if anyone does go, don't look for me.

I suspect their coach is a top notch recruiter.  They have a super talented roater for a school like MacNeese

He got in trouble at LSU.  Now I know McNeese doesn't have the resources like LSU, but I bet he gets "creative" with his recruiting pitch.
