Not a big fan of the green pants with the black everything else. But my opinion doesn’t matter. Hope the players like it and play well on Saturday.

I like the combo.

Normally not a fan of the Black unis, but the Green pants add just the right splash of color.

I think these are also an attempt to mimic Army's uniforms a bit...

But it makes me wonder if any team has ever worn uniforms in some form of camo pattern?

I believe Army did a few years ago.

I feel like I’ve seen it a few times, but I could be wrong.  Surely OkSt, TCU, Baylor, or Oregon have done it, right?

For the record, the Army camo uniform above is from 2010. Seems like only a few years ago to some of us, I know.

Here's Army this week:

I see the helmet has the 1 Cav logo.  I've seen other logos such as 10th Mtn and 4 ID before.  How is that decided?

Usually geography for road games. 1CAV, as you probably know, is at Fort Cavazos.

Home games, that's clearly not the case. When we played ECU, 7ID was honored. Maybe a rotation based on units we won't play close to in the near future?

And in case you or anyone is wondering, in the past we have based the Army-Navy uniform on a division that had been honored earlier in the same season.

I do too.  I think this is the only way to wear that black jersey.

I agree.  I’m not a fan of the black, but with the green pants…not a bad look at all.  Throw on a green helmet and I might actually be a fan of these.

There are 10 active Divisions in the US Army. At some point they all get honored...1st Cav is probably because of being at FT Hood...oh I mean Cavazos.

John Bell Hood (June 1[2] or June 29,[3] 1831 – August 30, 1879) was a Confederate general during the American Civil War. Hood's impetuosity led to high losses among his troops as he moved up in rank. Bruce Catton wrote that "the decision to replace Johnston with Hood was probably the single largest mistake that either government made during the war."

probably best to change the name, unless you like an effing loser.
