Election Related Question

Over the years I have heard many people, mostly celebrities, who said if this person (either party} wins "I will leave the Country". 

I am unaware of anyone who has ever followed through with the promise. Does anyone else know of any that have?

Considering how many of them have houses or condos in other countries, that might be difficult to measure.  I imagine very few, if any, of them have stayed out of America altogether while the offending President was in office.

They could really show us and denounce their us citizenship and move to a country of choice.

No because both parties ultimately serve capital, and they are way too rich and insulated from a president that would likely affect their gains. You guys may love thinking that Dems are some sort of communists but the only difference for a rich celebrity is a 3 or 5% effective tax rate, and they probably have ways around paying that as well.
