ESPN ranks Ross Hodge #12 of top 20 mid major coaches ready to make the jump to a P4 program. Personally I expect him to win the AAC "Coach of the Year" and move onward and upward.- 1

Around the League / UNT Opponents
The idea of playing the Shockers a third time scares me a bit. Hard to beat a team 3 times in the same season, and we had to get into a slugfest with them this week, outcome not decided until the last possession. -

Texas State to PAC 12
I liked the AAC coming into this new lineup but, man! This has been an uphill battle. Fighting for our lives to get NCAA bids, playing in questionable bowls. It's not what I thought it would be. -

Pernetti Wants Better OOC Scheduling
Or, here me out, we do everything possible to get into the new PAC where most of those 3-4 MWC bids will be playing starting next year. Quad 1 and 2 opponents almost every game.- 1
