I was impressed the new NT daily guy asked about firing Caponi. He’s doing a good job.

I heard he doesn't want to make a change during the season, but evaluate after. He's not going to just trash talk Craponi.

If Morris doesn't  put pressure on Caponi there could be one more loss besides Army.

With just a little better Defense IMO NT could run the table....we'll  see!

I guess you're a Caponi fan?  He pretty much said that, barring some unforeseen turnaround, Caponi's gone after the season's over.

That was not my takeaway from that coach speak answer. What I did takeaway was that he wasn’t considering a change during the season. He also said Caponi was doing a “fantastic” job.

You need to listen to that again.  Notice that he specified in what ways he was doing a fantastic job--he is a hard worker, etc.  But he clearly stated that the defensive performance was unsatisfactory.

Yes he did. It would be assisting to not acknowledge it. But notice he also said the result wasn’t satisfactory “the last couple of weeks.” It has been two years.
