WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Army star quarterback Bryson Daily will miss Saturday's game against Air Force with an undisclosed injury/illness, Army officials told ESPN.

With Daily sidelined, junior Dewayne Coleman will fill in at quarterback and make his first career start.  There is no timetable at this point on how long Daily might be out of the lineup, but Army officials don't think it's a season-ending setback.

Army’s good, but not great.  For those who complain that we haven’t beaten a team with a winning record, check out Army’s schedule.  We’d be undefeated and either ranked or receiving votes with their schedule.  I think they’ll be the 4th best team we’ve played this year.

Army is running the ball very well against Air Force.

Well yeah.  They're AIR Force Academy, not GROUND Force Academy....

But is it a 2-week setback?? 🤔

If Daily is healthy, he will play.

Army has a bye before Notre Dame, but even if we didn't, a healthy Daily would play against North Texas.

I would not putting them not playing him since they have to play Notre Dame next week. Especially if it rains they don't want to risk injuring him worse.  Go Green, win one for the Gipper.  If we happen to beat them and then beat UTSA, East Carolina, and Temple to be 9-3 it should increase our chances of a decent bowl game.

I agree 100% but they run the ball and our defense doesn't have an answer for that apparently.

As I already pointed out, Army has a bye between North Texas and Notre Dame.

You don't even know what his injury is, so thinking that rain increases the chance of making it worse is a leap.

Regardless, if he's healthy, he'll play.

Army controls its own destiny in the conference, so why in the world would we choose to put anything other than the best available players on the field for a conference game?

MAYBE if it wasn't a conference game he'd be a healthy scratch. But that kind of decision doesn't sound at all like the Coach Monken I've seen & heard for the past decade.

He didn't even attend the Air Force game, so it can't be too good, unless it was like Flu or intestinal, etc.

Bryson Daily will  start/play  against North Texas,   Someone tell the Greenie Defense to strap it on. They will not stop him or Udoh.   Army is not looking to the ND game this week..    That game is almost three weeks away for them -- not even in sight.  The Army D is looking to intercept at least 3 passes  and record 7 sacks against your pass happy offense.  Strap it on!
