WEST POINT, N.Y. -- Army star quarterback Bryson Daily will miss Saturday's game against Air Force with an undisclosed injury/illness, Army officials told ESPN.

With Daily sidelined, junior Dewayne Coleman will fill in at quarterback and make his first career start.  There is no timetable at this point on how long Daily might be out of the lineup, but Army officials don't think it's a season-ending setback.

Army’s good, but not great.  For those who complain that we haven’t beaten a team with a winning record, check out Army’s schedule.  We’d be undefeated and either ranked or receiving votes with their schedule.  I think they’ll be the 4th best team we’ve played this year.

But is it a 2-week setback?? 🤔

Army has a Bye Week after us, then plays Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium.   My guess is they will rest him for our game and the bye week to be ready to face Notre Dame (their Super Bowl).

Notre Dame is an historical rival for Army, but their Super Bowl always has been and always will be Navy.
