First game is tonight, so yes, I seriously created this thread celebrating the start of the season. This is the best time of the year. One football game a week, couple of basketball games, a soccer game and volleyball. Has nothing to do with the schedule and everything to do with the season.

This is the best time as a NT fan because we can actually see a good NT team!!

Just pulling your leg but I agree. Love this time of the year, though this is when my marriage is most at risk. This upcoming week, we'll see (in Denton):

Tuesday, 11/5 - MBB
Thursday, 11/7 - WBB
Friday, 11/8 - VB
Saturday, 11/9 - FB

I've always loved Bowl season. You're 5+ games into the MBB season, enjoying a (likely) 20+ win team find their identity, and you probably enjoy some holiday time off from work. The Stars and the Mavs are 15-20 wins into their respective seasons. If you aren't hyping yourself up for a Mean Green FB bowl game, you have time to watch some FB teams that you didn't get to check out mid season. The pressure and drama of a FB conference championship is behind you. Now the pigskin game feels different, in a good way.
