A bowl win would qualify, if you are among the crowd who believe only the truly elite (exceptional, unusually successful) should be selected to a Hall of Fame. That said, I hope he gets in because he led NT to two bowl game wins.

If he plays 2 healthy years, he'll be in the top 3 in passing yards and top 5 in passing TDs. Throw in a bowl win and he might get a statue lol

I wouldn’t vote for it. HoF is more than 1 season of success.

It is not.  Evidence A: DT.

It should be more than one season of success, though.

If Morris finishes out this season with a bowl win and leads the country with these stats, they will put him in.

Not great evidence.  While only one of his seasons was significantly successful, he also had a full career as a North Texas QB, 3 years as starter.

If Chandler only plays here one year, that would mean he left after this season to play somewhere else.  DT's HOF case was helped by the fact that he continued to support NT (or at least appeared to) after his playing career was over.

Not to mention, DT was far from a slam-dunk HOF-er.

Would you vote for Jamario?

He got in because of his senior year.  Period.  And I believe he gets in without needing the other years.

You think if he would have transferred in one year, played the kind of year he had in 2013, then transferred out, that he still makes the HOF?  I guess we'll have to agree to strongly disagree on this one.

I would. Jamario had one magical season and other productive seasons.
Chandler Rogers was here for one year. Did pretty good then left and the guy who replaced him is WAY better. That is not HOF stuff.

He might be the best QB we've ever had, but pump the brakes, it's been 8 games.

Agree, we still have 4 games left

This is the first thought I had.  I’d always said “no,” but a poster on here made me look at it differently.  If Jamario’s career had gone in reverse and his freshman season was his senior season, he’s a no-brainer.  But, that wasn’t the case, so it’s debatable.

As for Chandler, I say no to anyone who only played one year, no matter how great the season.

remember when we used that logo but instead of an eagle head it just had "North Texas" in the middle? I remember wondering why people were so mad about son of worm when that was what existed before.

And the side story, Cobbs, being unselfish, coached Jamario up while injured and he's right back on the sideline still doing that.
