Exactly.  You stated this much better than I’ve tried to.  Having a big NIL doesn’t automatically make you a playoff contender or even a conference championship contender.

Exactly.  I bet Florida State has a huge NIL stash, yet they are pitiful.  

I think we need Fan NIL.   $$ to encourage new fans to come to games.

NIL is not a magic bullet,  but it's table stakes. You can get a player cheaper than max price if he really wants to play for you but it's hard to get a quality OL to turn down six figures if you aren't offering anything.
