I'm sorry that your frellings were hurt. North Texas went on the road and challenged a team that is bigger, faster, stronger, more experienced, has much larger budget, and has significantly more fan support; basically every advantage. We lost due to a tying 12 yard touchdown toss that fell incomplete as time expired.

The Mean Green almost knocked off Memphis tonight. I am never pleased with a loss, but tonight was an excellent effort by our team and our coaching staff. Honestly, they represented our university well and I am proud of them.

Memphis fans create cohesion by wearing Blue to support their teams. Other colors may be more trendy but Memphis fans do what is necessary to support their school.

Yay!!! Moral victory! Just like last year! Maybe they should start tracking this as a stat.

For those of you that majored in music or played in the marching band at NT, what the hell was up with the Memphis band that played the entire game? Were those actual songs they were playing? It sounded like just horn blowing.

What an annoying atmosphere it sounded like on TV. Even my wife commented about how annoying it sounded there. If you were there, would love to hear about it. The Memphis band was playing during our onside kick too.

It's just hard to beat bigger, faster, stronger.I'm sure our recruiting will continue to focus on linemen on both sides of the ball.

Don't feel too sad. Imagine beating a P4 conference opponent on the road by 30 and moving DOWN one in the AP poll. Horrible.
