Our defense has improved since the start of the year…..

But I’m more focused on our offense this game. Feels like a game where we need our punter taking a nice long break today….

We need to push 50 points today.

This is the best defense we have faced. If the offense doesn’t score early, it could be a Tech night. EMorris can’t afford his usual lack of preparation. And Craponi better not wait until halftime…

Yes, this cannot be another the-opponent-doesn't-punt-until-the-third-quarter game.  Memphis is a lot more like Tech than they are a bottom half of the AAC team.  It's not fair to the offense to expect them to produce points on almost every single drive, but they'll probably have to do so to prevent a blowout.  I'm still skeptical about the supposed defensive improvements.  They've only looked better against completely dysfunctional offenses that can't move the ball against any of their opponents.  I guess we'll find out soon...

OL needs to do a better job early on. Seems like we get handled early and improve as the game goes on. Everybody needs to do their jobs to give us a competitive chance.

That’s the key tonight.

Too late to do anything about this game now.

everything should’ve been done this week. Hopefully they had a good week of practice.

Yes, our defense is likely still shit. For example, the FAU has around 70 yards passing today against UTsa. We are not good. Our offense is also very questionable against a decent defense. This will be a real test. This game really worries me, especially since there might be yet another OL configuration due to injuries. I am not optimistic. We need to be able to run the ball in the first half.

ESPN has us as 11-point underdogs tonight, which means we've got Memphis right where we want 'em.

How many teams have we beaten as underdogs this season? We beat South Alabama as a 6-point dog in the opener.

Our defense performing just as expected on the opening drive. Bad spot on the opening 3rd down conversion, turned into a TD. At least they didn't give up a long TD on the opening third down.

Lol
