Well they're not in a great budget place to start with and if you also look at the additional cost to travel non revenue teams you're going to spend a lot of money going west if you're Sam Houston.

How can you lie and say you enjoy what's going on in CUSA? CUSA has become a league for programs transitioning from FCS to FBS. Everyone joining the league is already thinking about where to next. Curious what Judy's plan is to stop the revolving door.

I watched the SHSU loss at home to WKU.  There was maybe 8000 in the stands, which only seats 14,000 in a high school looking stadium.  My bet is the MWC pulled their interest back.  After securing UTEP, they don't need/want SHSU.
