I love that we made the move to the American, but how do we make our conference more fun? 
 

My thoughts-

1. Texas Triangle Trophy- UNT, Rice, and UTSA. Most wins across all programs  

2. 50 shades of Green- UNT, Tulane, UAB, Charlotte, and USF are all green colored schools. 

3. Booty Bowl (49ers vs Pirates)- Charlotte vs ECU

4. 3 Owls- Rice, FAU, and Temple

5. Crawfish Bucket (Gulf Coast Rivalry)- Rice vs Tulane

6. South Plains Native Nations Recognition- UNT, Tulsa, and Wichita State

7. Discount tickets for Veterans when we play Army or Navy. Sell tickets at the VFW. Flyovers, salute to veterans, and ROTC recognition. 
8. FAU vs USF- Florida rivalry 

9. Temple needs to embrace the carpetbagger/Yankee persona. 
10. Memphis vs Tulane- Riverboat Rivalry

      I would like them to be good enough to be Quad 1 but not too good to get Will Wade hired away because they're our only home game on the books for next year lol.

      UTSA Game Poll

      UTSA is 4-0 at home and 0-5 away for 4-5 overall. NT is 3-2 at home and 2-2 away for 5-4 overall. They haven't gone thru the 3 game gauntlet NT has. Homer says we'll win by 14.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      figure one main thread to keep track of how our opponents are faring. the AAC is off to a pretty strong start...overall record of 29-7. plus currently Oregon State, High Point and Utah State / St. Bonaventure are all 3-0 - Memphis (2-0) with two quality wins v. Mizzou and UNLV. they should be undefeated (though San Francisco isn't a gimmie) heading into a 11/25 game with UCONN. - UAB (2-1)...I thought their loss to Vermont wouldn't look too bad, but UV has two pretty ugly losses now. really intriguing game tomorrow 11/15 v. High Point - FAU (2-1) look tough...their loss was by 6 to UCF who already beat then 13th A&M. - the other undefeated teams, ECU (3-0), Temple (3-0), Tulane (3-0), Tulsa (3-0), Wichita St. (2-0) collectively really haven't played much of a schedule...best win is probably WSU over WKU...but they've made pretty light work of what's in front of them. Games of interest over the next week or so: 11/14 - Northern Iowa @ Wichita State 11/15 - UAB @ HighPoint ; Temple @ Boston College ; FAU v. Charlston and Liberty (11/16) 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next)

      Sure but how good is Charlotte? They beat Richmond who lost to Marist. Utah State's other D1 win is against 0-3 Alcorn State who lost to an NAIA school. Again too early to really tell either way.

      they dropped 100 on a conference mate. currently 47 in KenPom. Memphis is at 37 and currently our highest rated opponent.
