they played opponents the fans cared about

the weather was better

they had an IPF

there were not so many other entertainment options in south Florida

they would just win consistently for a decade

they changed the culture at FAU

So are you saying that if UNT played FAU in the rain at Denton our attendance would be that much Better. Also the reasons you stated about FAU could just as easily be applied to North Texas.

The second major hurricane in three weeks, widespread power outages and 30% of gas stations in the state being out of fuel might have something to do with it. South Florida had 37 tornados during Milton, the most in a single day in state history. It has been beyond insane here.

You missed the original one.... if they had a new stadium.

They had a hurricane blow through on Thursday and has been raining ever since then…a lot of people loss everything, might be one reason the attendance was low???? Many people had more important things to than go to a football game!

I was going to add that, but they have a sort of, relatively new stadium.  However, I did forget one and we do have a new one....

Its almost as if most G5s not in small college towns or cities without pro sports just can't get much support...who knew?

What more is there to expect right now? At the beginning of the year we'd all be ecstatic if I told you we were 5-1 with Tech being our only loss. The SFA and Wyoming crowds were great, homecoming will be too.
