Not trying to sound like doom and gloom but for the love of all there is if a head coach in FBS football cannot understand how pathetic our defense is then maybe he's not ready to be an FPS head coach. Again not questioning how good of offensive coach he is but to this point Morris has done absolutely nothing to show that he has the ability at the FBS level to put together a complete coaching staff or at least a wellness to make changes when needed. Continuous things like this and our athletic director cannot understand why more people are not tuning into games or coming to games. Maybe it's a case that after years of everything always being the same too many people have no faith that North Texas will make the changes needed to be consistently at the top of their conferences.

The most amazing thing about North Texas is indeed the consistency.  Regardless of the conference, the coach, the defensive coordinator, the offensive coordinator, the QB, or the opponent, the team finds a way to play down to the competition and ALWAYS looks bad on national TV.

It's really quite astonishing when you think about it.  The 3-peat in the Sunbelt was two decades ago.  And that was the highlight of the entire century+ football history of NT.

Because we play teams that have a clue.  Not even good teams, just teams that make it almost impossible to win with self inflicted mistakes like Wyoming.  We are wasting another good QB season with Caponi.

I swear…we can’t be making fun of other teams, their fans and their attendance until we fix our own damn issues. We can’t be great until the higher ups (President, AD) get their heads out of their asses and make a commitment to win. This is atrocious!
