I can agree with this statement. I think I remember hearing Ronnie Lott say that the 49ers had a DC that did not teach tackling because he believed that at this point, a man wanted to get that person on the ground or he doesn't.

Somehow on ESPN Plus right now the only replay that doesn't seem to be connecting is our game.

Brett Vito almost got the score prediction right. As much as we like to bash him, he predicted 35-30 UNT. He missed by 6 and 7 respectively. He certainly had FAU getting more than their season average.

In the second half our defense gave up one touchdown after an interception put FAU on our 10 yard line and one field goal after an 18-yard drive. No other points.

Part of the story of this incredible comeback win is that the defense rose up in the second half from astonishingly bad to almost average. And that was enough, thanks to the Mean Green playing 60 minutes of football when FAU called it quits after 58.
