What a disappointing game this has been. Going for it on 4th a few minutes ago was just a pathetic decision and definitely shows a lack of confidence in Caponi and the defense. 
 

So tired of making average players like Fancher look like an All American.

Every single time hope springs eternal, we start thinking about a 5-1 start with a win on national TV it never fails, we will shit the bed in embarrassing fashion. We have beat 4 awful teams, we pay these coaches entirely too much for this kind of a performance.

Peanuts compared to the coordinator salaries at Colorado. Their TE coach makes $400k. Caponi makes $475k.

Too many mistakes on both sides of the ball. Offensive play calling has been bad, two touchdowns called back just because we weren't lined up right. Defense let's them do whatever they want, can't stop the run.

With all due respect I'm not comparing it to hiring power conference coaches. But if you can tell me that we can be the highest paying defensive coordinator position in G5 and not get a proven experience coordinator or even a head coach from FBS I will disagree with you for all times

But aren't you noticing the pattern that team after team seems to have all time high performances when they play our defense? I really believe if we could somehow have our offense play against our defense in a true game style situation there is a good chance the offense could put up close to a thousand yards against this defense.

With all due respect read the thread again. That side conversation was about Colorado and their staff, nothing else. Your comparison to other G5 budgets has nothing to do with that discussion.

This defense cannot tackle. They are talking about this is an outstanding offensive performance by FAU. This is a bad defensive performance by NT.
