We have the highest paid defensive coordinator in G5. So don't say that budget's an issue we could have hired many many many many many other coordinators for what we paid him. So again in some cases yes but don't use budget when you talk about this hire. This was a stupid hire by Morris.

I guess a four-man rush never gave Morris problems in the past. Isn't that how he bases his defensive decisions on what gave him problems in the past

Have you seen Travis Hunter and the QB?  And he would have brought the most talented recruiting class UNT ever had with him.  Moreover I am talking after his time winning at Jackson State.  The year Seth should have been fired.  You think all of the best players Sanders on Seth's last roster that Sanders may have wanted leaves?  We would have better DB talent and DB coaching. Not to mention just hiring a huge name locally changes the perception of our motivation to win.

This is such an undisciplined team. All these penalties after a bye week is ridiculous. What’s worse is they’re illegal procedures and alignment penalties. That is on the coaches. What poor preparation.

This. The tackling is worse than the scheme. There are several times that defenders are at the point of attack and the ball carrier breaks the tackle. Piss poor tackling.

The difference between these two teams is evident. Herman was seen chasing down the player who committed the penalty screaming at him. When have we seen EM or Caponi do that? Soft!
