Had two weeks to prepare and run all these plays. There should be no reason to commit that penalty to take the TD away

It’s not a ridiculous statement at all. Those two teams have a losing record and are awful. Does our offense have room for improvement? Sure. However, they have a ridiculous amount of pressure on them because our defense can’t stop anything.

He won't have to if can't make a defensive stand. Our tackling is terrible because we're slow on defense. And if we can't get a pass rush, you and I could throw for 300 yards.

Our trash defense being exposed by a bad offense. This is what worries me for the rest of the season.

You said “same shit, different week” now you (and others) are wanting throw in the “ the teams we played were terrible.” That’s true, but the defense played well against the last two weeks, so it’s not “same shit, different week.” Maybe “the last two weeks were fool’s gold” is more accurate.

With all of the quality defensive coordinators and even head coaches in FCS that would have taken the job for that amount of money you have to wonder Morris's logic when it comes to defense. He got sold a bill of goods and he bought it.
