Are we playing this week?

Recommended Posts

I will bring it up because no one is talking about it. With Milton expected to hit Wed, do we expect to play Sat?? Arrangements would need to be made soon if it's going to switch to Denton or something else.

The team would need time to get out.

I guess I just don't understand why no one is considering flooding. Does Florida not flood? I mean just because the storm is gone doesn't mean there won't be high waters left over. But I don't really know, just going by what Helene left behind.

Because south Florida.....is not expected to get that much rain from Milton. (this could change). As of right now......I looked up the 10 day for Boca......about 1/2 inch of rain between now and Friday. On the other hand.....Tampa is expected to get almost 9 inches of rain Wednesday. I know those rainfall estimates are somewhat iffy. But that's why.....I think our game will be fine. USF and UCF on the other hand.....

Thanks for the clarification. What about airports and flooding?

The joke is just the scene itself. If you know that bit of info it makes it funnier though.

When the movie came out, having Barbara Billingsley deliver that line was the joke. But everyone knew who she was then. Now it is like you said, basically some kind of trivia point.

My son lives in Ft. Lauderdale and they are expecting rain and wind but nothing serious. He is scheduled to fly to Panama City Thursday and as of today Delta said there should be no problem. However hurricanes are unpredictable and also spin off tornados so we will see.
