Vandy QB had no offers out of his high school, went juco, CUSA player of the year for New Mexico State when he lead to them to CUSA championship game.

You know the Georgia State fans are annoying the Hell out of the Georgia fans right now. "We beat Vanderbilt, Vanderbilt beat Alabama, and Alabama beat ..."

I root for underdogs, so congrats to Vandy over Bama.

But not happy they had to steal NMSU's QB to do it, instead of recruiting one of their own.

So Vandy is still just a rich thieving Bully!

NMSU stole him first. Plus he graduated so stop crying.

It's not stealing from a JUCO to FBS.   Big deal he graduated; he was recruited to leave NMSU to Vandy.

And you know this how? He graduated, entered the portal, and went to the powerhouse known as Vanderbilt.

Edit to add, how is it not stealing from JUCO to FBS? By your logic, you should only go to one school. He finished what he could at a JUCO then went to an FBS school to complete his undergrad studies then he graduated and went for graduate school elsewhere. Your post reeks of hypocrisy.

South Alabama is down 6-3 to Arkansas St. When do y'all think is the last time that all 5 Alabama FBS schools lost in  the same week? I'd guess that it's never happened.

Pavia went old school portaling. The kind of portal play that was for the love of the game.

Yep. He landed at the worst SEC program that won zero conference games last year, hadn't beat Alabama in 40 years, and was 0-60 against top 5 opponents in their history dating back to the beginning of the poll era in 1936. You have to respect the grit.

Pavia will be an interesting NFL pick depending on how the season goes. He's a senior. Obviously late round pick or UDFA. But he's got the gumption.

I wonder if he'd convert to WR. We've seen an increasing number of vertically challenged QBs in the NFL these past few years though so maybe he can stay at QB. I think he'll get looks regardless.
