You know how they say to do some of different every year.  Well in my almost 4 decades of Mean Green football I don’t remember the sustained collapse year. I’ve done the magical comeback year, the please let us go bowling with our slippery rock U victory and 5 wins season. I’ve seen us beat big boys and lose to cupcakes. I’ve seeing us get trashed by big boys and beat cupcakes. But I don’t recall a hot start followed by an epic collapse. I still think we get 2 more and go bowling but wow what a strange year. 

I stumbled upon my UNLV UNT pennant from the Heart of Dallas Bowl this afternoon and couldn’t believe we’ve been waiting 10 years for another bowl win. Wild.
