SMU's move to the ACC had absolutely nothing to do with North Texas.  Scared of being left for dead when the inevitable Power 4 split occurs is what motivated the billionaires to bankroll the ACC realignment.

This comment goes way back and not necessarily related to SMU going to the ACC hence my comment of “once again”.  Enjoy your time in the east coast. Doesn’t Duke or BC have a fan board for you to be an ass whipping on?

240 yards on the ground to 60.

This is what TOs do: you lose the opportunity to gain more yards/production.

If you're going to argue about being more physical (I didn't watch), you need to offer other angles.

You going to keep ignoring the 400+ yards passing that super physical SMU defense gave up?

I mean, a running game is more physical than a passing game.

That being said, this circles back to the TOs.

Yeah putting up a ton of empty stats when you're down by 31 points to start the fourth quarter is an interesting flex.

TCU got absolutely destroyed in all three phases of the game.  SMU had a defensive touchdown, a special teams touchdown, and ran for over 250 yards.  It was complete domination.

What exactly did Sonny do to get kicked out of the game?  Seems weird for him.

Called the side judge a MF'er got him the first one.  Wouldn't stop.  Sought out the lead official to keep chirping after another play and wouldn't let it go.  Sonny is known for twisting off on officials.  Irony was it was a Big 12 officiating crew.
