This has got to be one of the stupidest headlines used on the official site that I have seen.    What an accomplishment, tying a lower tier team that NT had a 6-0 all-time record against.

ACU packs their defense in hoping to limit their opponents chances.  They are now 2-1-5 on the year with all five ties being 0-0.

give ACU credit they have not given up a goal all year at home, but I would hope the ladies at UNT are not happy with a tie against ACU

I promise our ladies are not happy with the outcome considering how many chances we had from close range.

Are we really crapping on the Soccer ladies' now??   Talk about stray bullets...
Have you seen what's been going on with the football team?   Try to keep your vitriol over there.

Expressing disappointment in the soccer team's performance is what you term "crapping on the Soccer ladies'"?

By the way it has absolutely nothing to do with the football team's performance.

Seeing as how they have not lost a game over the past 7... yes.   Especially when there's a dumpster fire raging on the football board.   Oddly enough, the team you deem as "lower tier" is another D1 team, playing in the WAC.

It's just weird to fire up a thread to "express disappointment" in a winning program at the current time is all I'm saying.

Well, aren't you all rainbows and unicorns.

Again, what has this to do with football?

I guess you cannot criticize any NT team's performance because the football team lost to Tech.  Real logic there.

I assume you also believe all D1 conferences are equivalent.  SEC, WAC, AAC, etc.

OK man.   Have fun needlessly criticizing a winning program.

my frustration is Hedlund hit a ceiling years ago, has never won an NCAA Tournament Game, must less scored a goal due to style of play in big games. This team missed the AAC tournament last year, which is embarrassing considering the pedigree. So think as fans we should be worried about this winning team having hit a ceiling. They had chances already this season against weaker P4's and lost, then go out and tie A&M Commerce a team in transition to D1 and tie ACU.

So sure they have been one of the few bright spots over the past 15+ yrs but they have not met the standards in the past few seasons, where apparently tying and reaching .500 is great.

🤔 Two years ago they finished 2nd in conference and lost in the semi’s! Also crazy how you always leave out the 16 championships this program/coach has brought this university! That is a record of titles by one coach that will never be broken!  But I do love the football and soccer coverage for the fall, it would be nice to see a little volleyball coverage.

1. Regarding 16... regular season championships mean diddly poo in the conferences we've been in. I have never seen a school celebrate regular season titles as much as we do.

2. Reread above... Hedlund has obviously hit his ceiling and this program has gone stagnant or possibly even declined. Yes, he has more titles and wins than everyone ever has, but with more accomplishments comes higher expectations. 30 years, almost 400 wins, and not a single NCAA Tournament win to our name.

Let him finish the year and get his 400th win but if we're tying with the ACU and TAMU Commerce's of the world, might be a sign to move on.
