Yeah since Vance and Trump have taken those racist Facebook rumors mainstream there's been bomb threats at the Springfield schools and hospitals every day. Vance is a terrorist to his own constituents, so no, I won't lighten up. Now cut the shit before the mods start getting mad at me.

I bet you're a real treat at parties.

I guess if Mestemaker had gone to China Spring he would have been the starter there.

By the looks of the last play, you could tell the kid has never played quarterback. I don’t think he would’ve started anywhere.

From what I researched, Deuce Adams the guy he backed up in HS, plays at Louisville (who UNT offered). So Morris must have noticed him then.

Seems he had a bunch of D2 offers before UNT came along. I'm surprised he jumped to QB2 so fast.

I believe he's a walk-on.  He beat out another true freshman for QB2, but that may have more to do with a desire to keep the redshirt on him.

Like it or not, unless some of y'all can raise about $5 million or more, Morris will be our coach next year.  Just have to hope he and the rest of this staff can get things figured out fast.

Morris will be okay as the head coach as soon as he commits to a defensive coordinator who is strong. Carthel was my choice when we hired Morris and I would love for them to try to bring him on as a next defensive coordinator. He has consistently dealt with turnover in both his coaches and players and still puts out solid defenses

You can play four games and any bowl game and still maintain the red shirt so I don't think that has anything to do with it.

Am I reading too much into this or is CM really isolated on the sideline? He doesn't seem to be hyping up teammates or talking to them after plays? No. "Hey that was my fault, we'll get it on the next one." type of gestures. I don't think it has only been this game too.

He’s probably thinking about where he’ll be playing next year. I hear Michigan needs a QB.

This is his last year of eligibility.  I think?

The bigger issue in my eyes is that as the HC you are basically the CEO, you don't do the nitty gritty work, but you make sweeping decisions that guide the ship. If you can't evaluate that people have the skills to do the job, and make a decision to change when it's clear they didn't meet expectations, how can I trust you can guide the ship? The focus then starts to shift abou them not being able to do their job, to you not being able to do yours.

Good point. That's why he needs to make a change of defensive coordinator immediately. To use the analogy of a CEO it's like that we had the highest paid sales rep in our industry and he sucked and yet we continue to pay in the same salary and brought him back. You are correct that does rightfully question Morris's decision making.
