Worst part is actually calling that play

That play reminded me of the Soul Train dance line: "Everybody stand in a line while Morris boogies."

Bad snap deserves some of the blame for that miss.

Eh. It was behind a bit, but the hold got down. It was a chip shot. He didn't mishit it. He's botched PATs and can't kick midrange-long FGs. You absolutely had to have that.

Imagine how small your 3rd down play book gets if you have to consider your kicker's preferred angle. There should be no misses from inside 30 yards

Yes except they should have already know he cannot hit from the hash marks. Literally at practice ( I have heard), plus during warm ups, and the sat two games…. He has distance but zero accuracy! All they had to do was get the ball in the middle of the field. Old school football coaches might have actually don’t that to play it safe actually.

doesn’t matter since our defensive backs are awful

"Alright defense, whatever play they run is towards the middle of the field because the kicker can only kick it from the center."

Yes he missed it badly, but the timing matters. Snap has to be better. It was completely behind the holder.

When can we reinstate our 3 suspended guys? I’m sure they were really sorry for what they’ve done. Seeing these young guys in our secondary will be tough all season

Misdemeanor non-violent arrests are a sign of a championship team. Just look at Georgia. Have to let them play though.

He absolutely does not have distance. We have a "long FG kicker" on the roster. If you're calling your offense to a hash inside the 20 in the 2nd quarter, they shouldn't let you on the bus.

You just went for it on 4th and 7 so why even kick a field goal there - just go for it.

So disappointed in the play so far.  They have players and scheme to compete, they have been sloppy.  They still probably trailing at this point in the game but poor play has cost them 10-17 points.

I just hit enter but then a pass hits receiver right between the eyes and pops it up for an easy interception.  So correction 17-24 points.  🤦🏽‍♂️

With this kicking game I tend to agree, even when it's basically a PAT. That was a crusher.
